i know the answer will vary due to location.. are you (especially elders) receiving any notification or communication from bethel or co's that there is an upsurge of people that are simply disappearing or out right dis associating?.

Spanish congs are still lively in the sense that we are always celebrating something. Every weekend, for real! When it gets quiet, we do gatherings at parks and dinner parties for no other reason than just eat, play games and dance.
Hell, it helps pass the time.

The attendance at our Spanish congs has gone down. The young people are not into it at all; they are busy with their studies and totally aloof about Org stuff.

I no longer pray. Have not in years; only bow my head out of respect at the KH and sometimes say the customary 'amen'.
Does he not know all things? Why do we have to ask for anything in prayer, or even mention anyone's name?! Silly, useless. His answer is usually "No", so why even bother?!
What is this 'sick' need for these all knowing, all encompassing, all powerful deities to be worshipped in anyway by us lowly grasshoppers?!

When I hear the expression "mentally diseased", I think of transgendered individuals. They obviously belong to a specific gender but their sick mind orients them against it. I align it with sick minded individuals who hear voices and act accordingly.
I do not hate, nor would I harm transgendered subjects, but I certainly believe their mind is ill, so I am dismissive about that community.

Yes. His personality and mine are very much in sink and compliment each other very well. He is one hell of a looker, to me of course.

don't get me wrong there was some good people but unfortunately there was also a lot of egotism, back stabbing, jealousy and gossiping.
i could never really fit in any group, everytime i thought i had found a group it was as if i would be sidelined or ditched.
Oh, I have many an "associate", and the same is true that I need time in the week and weekend to cover all the invites my family receives for JW fun events. However, any perceived misstep against the WTBTS and everybody will back away and the invitations will cease immediately.
For as long as we are perceive to be JWs in good standing things will continue to be peachy.
Friendship among JWs is just an illusion. I understand it and accept it.

There are no "friends" inside the WTBTS, only "associates". Hell, in this Org even your immediate relatives will turn their back on you if you stop obeying the GB master.
Lately, I am having issues with family and other "associates" because I refuse to use an electronic device for meetings and service. It is annoying!

I find that true friendship is harder than usual because it is directly connected with one's loyalty to this Org. It is frustrating, and totally the reason why my best friends are among my immediate family.
Growing up I had very close friends that drove themselves away merely because I did not continue to work as hard as they did for the WTBTS. Friendships are elusive in this environment.

protesters shut down a trump rally.
massive numbers of people are out in chicago and have shut his event down.
there were scuffles inside the event.. despite his lame attempt to pretend the violence he instigates is nothing to do with him it's clear that it is as the cnn quotes during the last event showed only too well.. this doesn't happen at anyone else's events - candidates have even given up the stage to protesters, not called for them to be beaten and punched.. trump is an ugly person and this is just a small taste of what a future under his rule would be like.. shame on the gop for not kicking his ass out.
